BASIC of BELIEF

We live in a period of chaos.
Science and technology seem to be rapidly developing and our lives are becoming more convenient, but society is changing too quickly and it is too hard to follow in our abilities.
As competition becomes fierce, it seems to be more busy, more stressed, and harder to live.

Every
day, big events and natural disasters, political confusion and economic instability, terrorism, war and disease always make us uneasy.
People are increasingly losing their purpose of life, becoming addicted to materialism, falling into gambling, pursuing luxury and fashion, or looking for more fun and shocking things.
But nothing fundamentally satisfies our minds, and we get tired of it.

Amos8:11~13 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find [it]. In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst.

God has already foreshadowed these days through the Amos prophet 2700 years ago.
God famines the earth, but it is not a famine that does not have bread nor thirst for water, but a famine that does not hear God's words.
People can not get it when they go around looking for the Word of God, and on that day, young people are tired of spiritual thirst.

Because
the future is unstable, people have no place to rely, so they see fortunes, or they also join various accident insurance or life insurance.
Still, my heart is not stable, so I look for this books but the thirst of my heart is not resolved.
No matter how you think, you will not be able to answer why you have to live so hard in the end dearh
No matter how successful our lives are in society our life is a path of death that is scheduled to old and sick.

Prov.14:12~13 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof [are] the ways of death. Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful; and the end of that mirth [is] heaviness.

Even when you laugh, there is sadness in your mind, and the end of joy is anxiety.
My mind is always depressed, anxious, and worry because my body do not listen to what my spirit want.
My spirit,, another me in me, wants to hear the Word of God, the truth.
The truth of God in the Bible will make you feel like you are leading out of the dark tunnel into the light.
