James3:13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom.

James4:17 Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.

1Pet.3:11 Let him turn away from evil and do good; Let him seek peace and pursue it.

1John2:17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.

1John3:10 In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.

2John1:4 I rejoiced greatly that I have found some of your children walking in truth, as we received commandment from the Father.

3John1:11 Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. He who does good is of God, but he who does evil has not seen God.

Rev.22:14 Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.

8. the narrow gate(way)

Matt.7:13~14 "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.
"Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

 Matt.16:24~25 Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.
"For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.

 Matt.19:21 Jesus said to him, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me."

 Matt.20:28 "just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many."

 Matt.23:12 "And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.

 Mark9:35 And He sat down, called the twelve, and said to them, "If anyone desires to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all."

 Luke13:24 "Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able.

Luke14:26 "If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple.
"And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple.

Luke14:33 "So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple.

John12:24~25 "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.
"He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.

John13:14~15 "If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet.
"For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you.

Rom.8:17 and if children, then heirs--heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

1Cor.4:11~13 To the present hour we both hunger and thirst, and we are poorly clothed, and beaten, and homeless.
And we labor, working with our own hands. Being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we endure;
being defamed, we entreat. We have been made as the filth of the world, the offscouring of all things until now.

2Cor.4:8~11 We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed--
always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.
For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus' sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.

Gal.6:14 But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

Phil.1:29 For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake,

Phil.2:5~8 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,
who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God,
but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.
And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.

2Tim.3:12 Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.

Heb.5:7~10 who, in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications, with vehement cries and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death, and was heard because of His godly fear
though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered.
And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him,
called by God as High Priest "according to the order of Melchizedek,"

1Pet.2:21~23 For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps:
"Who committed no sin, Nor was deceit found in His mouth";
who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously;

1Pet.4:1~2 Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin,
that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.

1Pet.4:10 As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

1Pet.4:13 but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ's sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.

1Pet.4:16 Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter.

9. Resurrection of Body

1Cor.15:20~23 But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.
For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead.
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive.
But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ's at His coming.

1Cor.15:40 There are also celestial bodies and terrestrial bodies; but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.

1Cor.15:42~44 So also is the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption.
It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power.
It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

1Cor.15:46~47 However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual.
The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven.

1Cor.15:49 And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man.

2Cor.5:1 For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

Phil.3:21 who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.

1John3:2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.

10. Royalty, Temperate, Patience

Rom.12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

Rom.14:8 For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord's.

1Cor.6:20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.

1Cor.9:25 And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.

1Cor.10:12 Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.

1Cor.16:13 Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.

2Cor.5:15 and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.

Phil.4:5 Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

Col.3:5 Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.

Titus1:8 but hospitable, a lover of what is good, sober-minded, just, holy, self-controlled,

Titus2:2 that the older men be sober, reverent, temperate, sound in faith, in love, in patience;

Heb.3:13~14 but exhort one another daily, while it is called "Today," lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end,

Heb.10:36 For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:

Heb.10:39 But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.

James1:3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.
But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

James5:11 Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord--that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful.

1Pet.1:13 Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

Rev.2:10 "Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

Rev.2:25 "But hold fast what you have till I come.

 Rev.14:12 Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

11. Tribulations, Temptation, Test, Refine

Acts14:22 strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying, "We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God."

2Cor.12:10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Heb.12:6 For whom the LORD loves He chastens, And scourges every son whom He receives."

Heb.12:11 Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.

James1:12 Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.

1Pet.1:7 that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,

Deut.8:15~16 "who led you through that great and terrible wilderness, in which were fiery serpents and scorpions and thirsty land where there was no water; who brought water for you out of the flinty rock;
"who fed you in the wilderness with manna, which your fathers did not know, that He might humble you and that He might test you, to do you good in the end--

Job23:10 But He knows the way that I take; When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.

Ps.66:10 For You, O God, have tested us; You have refined us as silver is refined.

Prov.3:11 My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD, Nor detest His correction;

Prov.17:3 The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold, But the LORD tests the hearts.

12. The righteous and The Wicked

Matt.13:49~50 "So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come forth, separate the wicked from among the just,
"and cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth."

Rom.1:17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith."

Rom.3:10~12 As it is written: "There is none righteous, no, not one.
There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God.
They have all turned aside; They have together become unprofitable; There is none who does good, no, not one."

Ps.10:4 The wicked in his proud countenance does not seek God; God is in none of his thoughts.

Ps.12:8 The wicked prowl on every side, When vileness is exalted among the sons of men.

Ps.64:10 The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and trust in Him. And all the upright in heart shall glory.

Ezek.33:18~19 "When the righteous turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, he shall die because of it.
"But when the wicked turns from his wickedness and does what is lawful and right, he shall live because of it.

13. Victory

1Cor.15:54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: "Death is swallowed up in victory."

1Cor.15:57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

 2Cor.2:14 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.

 1John5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world--our faith.

 Rev.2:7 "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God."'

 Rev.2:11 "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death."'

Rev.2:17 "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it."'

Rev.2:25~28 "But hold fast what you have till I come.
"And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations-
'He shall rule them with a rod of iron; They shall be dashed to pieces like the potter's vessels'-- as I also have received from My Father;
"and I will give him the morning star.

Rev.3:5 "He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

Rev.3:12 "He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. And I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.

Rev.3:21 "To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

Rev.15:2 And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who have the victory over the beast, over his image and over his mark and over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God.

Rev.21:7 "He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.

14. Spiritual War

Matt.10:34 "Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword.

Eph.6:11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

1Tim.6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

2Tim.2:3~4 You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier.

2Tim.4:7~8 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.

2Pet.2:9 then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment,

James4:1 Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members?

Rev.12:7 And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought,

Rev.19:11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.

15. religion

Matt.11:28~29 "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
"Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

John5:39 "You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me.

2Cor.7:1 Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Col.3:1~3 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.
Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.
For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

1Thess.5:16~19 Rejoice always,
pray without ceasing,
in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
Do not quench the Spirit.

Heb.12:14 Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord:

1Pet.5:7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

James1:27 Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.

16. Fall

Luke18:8 "I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?"

Phil.3:18~19 For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ.
whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame--who set their mind on earthly things.

1Tim.1:19 having faith and a good conscience, which some having rejected, concerning the faith have suffered shipwreck,

1Tim.4:1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,

1Tim.5:12 having condemnation because they have cast off their first faith.

1Tim.6:10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

2Tim.3:8 Now as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, disapproved concerning the faith;

 2Tim.4:3~4 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers.
and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.

2Tim.4:10 for Demas has forsaken me, having loved this present world, and has departed for Thessalonica--Crescens for Galatia, Titus for Dalmatia.

Heb.6:4~6 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit,
and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come,
if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.

Heb.10:26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,
but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.

Heb.10:39 But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.

2Pet.2:20~22 For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning.
For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them.
But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: "A dog returns to his own vomit," and, "a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire."

1John5:16 If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin which does not lead to death, he will ask, and He will give him life for those who commit sin not leading to death. There is sin leading to death. I do not say that he should pray about that.

Jude1:5~7 But I want to remind you, though you once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.
And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day;
as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

Rev.22:15 But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.

17. Light and Darkness

Matt.4:16 The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light, And upon those who sat in the region and shadow of death Light has dawned."

Matt.5:15 "Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.

Matt.25:30 'And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'

Luke11:36 "If then your whole body is full of light, having no part dark, the whole body will be full of light, as when the bright shining of a lamp gives you light."

John1:4~5 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.
And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

John3:19 "And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

John8:12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life."

John12:35~36 Then Jesus said to them, "A little while longer the light is with you. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you; he who walks in darkness does not know where he is going.
"While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light." These things Jesus spoke, and departed, and was hidden from them.

John12:46 "I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness.

Acts26:18 'to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.'

Acts26:23 "that the Christ would suffer, that He would be the first to rise from the dead, and would proclaim light to the Jewish people and to the Gentiles."

Rom.13:12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.

2Cor.4:4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.

2Cor.4:6 For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

2Cor.6:14 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?

Eph.5:8~9 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light.
(for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth),

Eph.5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.

Eph.5:13~14 But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light.
Therefore He says: "Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light."

Phil.2:15 that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,

Col.1:13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,

1Thess.5:4~6 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.
You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness.
Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.

Heb.10:32 But recall the former days in which, after you were illuminated, you endured a great struggle with sufferings:

1Pet.2:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

2Pet.1:19 And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts;
