 Phoenicia

Phoenicia is a once-prosperous country in the Mediterranean, influenced by Egypt and Mesopotamia, which has had a cultural impact on Crete and Greece, but was destroyed by Rome.
In other words, it is a country that has served as a bridge between Orient civilization and European civilization.
Phoenicia was also called Poenica or Carthage, and in the Bible it is called the Kingdom of Tyre and Sidon.

Phoenicia developed commerce, first used currency, and developed alphabets.
However, it produced the Freemason's original Hiramsharif, developed a hedonistic culture, handed the Baalsin to Israel, which led Israel to be judged as idolatry, and was the kingdom of Satan, comparable to Babylon, which included all seven elements of Satanism, including infant worship.

1. History

Phoenicia and the colonies of Phoenicia

Phoenicia

Phoenicia is a city-state built by the Semitics in central Syria, east of the Mediterranean Sea, around 2000 BC.
It is excellent in navigation and monopolizes Mediterranean trade.
Phoenicians belong to the Canaanese of the Semitics with the Hebrains and Aramas, but a mixed race was long ago.
Geographically, it is located at the contact point between Mesopotamia and Egypt.

Phoenicians, who took control of the Mediterranean Sea, continued to expand its reach to the West and repeated the clash with the Greeks over the control of Sicily for about three centuries.
In the middle of the 4th century BC, Phoenicia was defeated in the battle with Timoréon of Shirakusa. In 310 BC, the African mainland was invaded by Agatocles, Phoenicia finally re-established the hegemony of Sicily.

However, after the intervention of the Epirus king Piros, Phoenicia eventually lost control of Sicily.
There was no conflict between the Romans for a long time, but after the Piros War, the confrontation between the two intensified and the three Phoenicia Wars took place between 264 BC and 146 BC.
Phoenicia, a commercial state that had been the owner of the Mediterranean for about five centuries, was destroyed without trace by Rome, a new military state that unified the Italian peninsula

On the western Mediterranean side of the Lebanon Mountains, several ports developed, the capital of Lebanon, Beirut, and Sidon and Tyre, which were trading ports.
Among them, Sidon and Tyre were the ports that dominated the Mediterranean commercial are, these two ports were ruled by the same king, and according to Genesis, Sidon was the eldest son of Canaan.

Gen.10:15 Canaan begot Sidon his firstborn, and Heth;

In Hela, the western part of the Lebanon Mountains was called Phoenicia, which means red paint.
Among the Canaanese trading items, red cloth was especially famous.
In the Bible, King Tyre means King Phoenicia.

Ezek.28:2 "Son of man, say to the prince of Tyre, 'Thus says the Lord GOD: "Because your heart is lifted up, And you say, 'I am a god, I sit in the seat of gods, In the midst of the seas,' Yet you are a man, and not a god, Though you set your heart as the heart of a god

The guardian god of Tyre, the goddess of love, Asdarod, entered Hela and became Aphrodite.
Aphrodite means bubble, which means she was born in the sea.
Aphrodite became the guardian of the Corinthians, which was the port of Hella's trade.

This obscene goddess, who promotes free sex, was a god created by the traders of Tyre, and was a god who helped people to fall into luxury and vanity.
The Canaan culture led by Baal, the rebel god who drove father, and the obscene goddess Asdarot, who promotes free sex, entered Hella, and Rome succeeded it, and today the rebellion of Baal and the obsceneness of Asdarot consist of Western civilization.

* The passages about the Kingdom of Tyre in the Bible are as follows.

(1) Is.23:3 And on great waters the grain of Shihor, The harvest of the River, is her revenue; And she is a marketplace for the nations.

(2) 2Sam.5:11 Then Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and cedar trees, and carpenters and masons. And they built David a house.

(3) 1Kin.16:31~33 And it came to pass, as though it had been a trivial thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took as wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal, king of the Sidonians; and he went and served Baal and worshiped him.
Then he set up an altar for Baal in the temple of Baal, which he had built in Samaria.
And Ahab made a wooden image. Ahab did more to provoke the LORD God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel who were before him.

3. Culture

Having built many colonists on the southeast coast of the Iberian Peninsula and on the northwestern part of Africa, Phoenicia gained a lot of wealth through foreign trade using their own navigation techniques.
They sent ships from the Mediterranean to Britannia to gain the tin that was essential for bronze manufacturing, the main trade of the time.

In the west coast of Africa, they collected a lot of gold and ivory, and inland they cultivated wheat on a large scale.
Trade through the sea had to be based on science and technology.

Phoenicians exported wood, olives, grapes, dried fish, art crafts made of gold, jewels, ivory, and glass.
They have a brutal religious custom of human sacrifice, so the front yard of the temple is filled with the remains of children dedicated to the goddess Tanit and the god Baaramong.

Phoenician character

Comparison of Phoenician, Greek, and Roman Characters

Thales

a) Character (alphabet)

The ancient Phoenician wrote 22 consonants and is the mother of the Western writing system today.
It is estimated that it was created based on the North Semitic character in the 17th century BC, and it was widely used in inscriptions in the 11th and 10th centuries BC as practical characters.
By the 11th century BC, Phoenician texts were spread to the Mediterranean coast by the colonial trade activities of Phoenicia, and by the 8th century BC, Greek and Etrurian texts influenced the formation of Latin texts.

b) Thales

Thales is the first natural philosopher of ancient Greece in Miletos..
He is a descendant of the Phoenician, and also a trader of olive oil.
He traveled to advanced countries such as Egypt and Babylonia to learn scientific knowledge.
He predicted the eclipse of May 28, 585 BC, and calculated the height of the pyramid or the distance from the coast to the ship.
He established the first geometry based on Egyptian practical knowledge.

In the 6th century BC, there was no word yet: "philosopher"(who loves wisdom).
Thales was the first person to thoroughly abandon mythical elements and to explain the origins of the world based on science.
He claimed that everything comes from water, and this claim was based on the discovery of fossils of sea animals in the deep inland.

4. Phoenicia War

It is an ancient world war from the middle of the 3rd century BC to the middle of the 2nd century BC over the hegemony of the Mediterranean world.
With this war, Rome took the hegemony of the Mediterranean and spread all over the world, and Phoenicia disappears from history forever.

Is.23:1 The burden against Tyre. Wail, you ships of Tarshish! For it is laid waste, So that there is no house, no harbor; From the land of Cyprus it is revealed to them.

Amos1:9 Thus says the LORD: "For three transgressions of Tyre, and for four, I will not turn away its punishment, Because they delivered up the whole captivity to Edom, And did not remember the covenant of brotherhood.

Phoenicia, which polluted Israel and worshipped Satan, was destroyed without trace, and prophecy was accomplished.

Ezek.28:22~23 "and say, 'Thus says the Lord GOD: "Behold, I am against you, O Sidon; I will be glorified in your midst; And they shall know that I am the LORD, When I execute judgments in her and am hallowed in her.
For I will send pestilence upon her, And blood in her streets; The wounded shall be judged in her midst By the sword against her on every side; Then they shall know that I am the LORD.

The evil and arrogant Sidon could not avoid the judgment of the Jehovah.

Matt.11:21~22 "Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.
"But I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the day of judgment than for you.

Jesus has shown miracles in many of Israel's towns, but he predicted that they would be destroyed like Tyre and Sidon because they did not repent.
In the end, Isreel is slaughtered by Rome, the remaining are taken to slavery, and the city is devastated and the country itself disappears.
