The Course of Salvation

Salvation is the ultimate purpose of life and the most important doctrine in Christianity.
There are 440 phrases in the Bible that contain the word 'salvation', so there may be many claims about salvation.
However, if you focus on one or two phrases without looking at the Bible as a whole, extreme and contradictory doctrines are established.
Here, I will tell you that salvation is not done in a moment, but that we must take a certain process.

First, looking at the traditional Christian salvation doctrine, it is based on the ideas of Luther and Calvin who made the 16th century relligious reformation.
At that time, Catholicism was saved by non-Bible human actions such as pilgrimage to the Holy Land, confession, and an indulgence purchase.
Luther, who felt unfair, insisted that human is saved by righteous by faith, not human behavior.
Calvin insisted predestination that salvation was determined by God's absolute sovereignty, not human will.

Rom.1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Rom.3:23~24 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;  Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

Eph.1:4~5 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:  Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

Regardless of human behavior, it became the basic doctrine of Christianity that human is saved by the grace of God by believing that Jesus was crucified on behalf of our sins.
In other words, salvation is not made by human behavior or will, but by God's grace and predestination.
I agree with this, but when you read the Bible, you can find many phrase that are contrary to it.

John3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Matt.7:21~23 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Jesus
said that if a man is not born again, he can not see the kingdom of God.
Jesus also said that the one who has formal faith can't go heaven, but the one who does the will of God can go heaven.
Then we have a great confusion.
What on earth should we believe?

For example, the fairy tale, the blind and elephant metaphor,
4 blinds touched different parts of the large elephant.
The person who touched the leg claims that "Elephant is four thick, long pillars!"
The person who touched the ear claims that "Elephant is a thin, wide fan!"
The person who touched the nose claims that "Elephant is a long flesh like snake!"
The person who touched the tail claims that "Elephant is a long thin rope!"
If they insist, they will fight forever and their opinions will not in agreement.
At this time Painter appears and listens to the opinions of 4 people and draws an a perfect elephant that is not contradictory.

If you do not see the Bible from the whole point of view, and ignore the context and believe only some of the Bible passages, you may get extreme arguments.
Therefore, be careful not to fall to extreme and contradictory doctrines without biasing to the left or right.
However many churches can not guide the members properly in extreme doctrines.
As such, the passages about the salvation of the Bible have a consistent flow, and I have learned that they are organically structured and not contradictory.

Deut.5:32~33 Ye shall observe to do therefore as the LORD your God hath commanded you: ye shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left. Ye shall walk in all the ways which the LORD your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and [that it may be] well with you, and [that] ye may prolong [your] days in the land which ye shall possess.

Mal.2:9 Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as ye have not kept my ways, but have been partial in the law.

God wants us to do everything God commands, not to go right or left, not to fall into the extreme, to walk center on the way.
If we do not follow the path of God's truth and keep the Bible in a biased way, God will not protect us.completely.

Is.34:16 Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them.

2Tim.2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

To
get the whole truth, you must read the Bible in detail.
Because the Bible is written by God's inspiration and there is nothing lacking or absence pair.
Therefore, the Bible should be divided into stages of the times (old Testament, New Testament, millennium kingdom), the object (Jews, Christians, and unbelievers), and salvation.

* Salvation is in order from stage 1 to stage 5 and is summarized as follows.

 1

Truth

Rom.10:17

So then faith [cometh] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

 2

Belief

Rom.3:26

To declare, [I say], at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

 3

Forgiveness of sins

Eph.1:7

In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

 4

Born Again

  John3:3

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

 5

Right Behavior

Matt.7:21

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

First, salvation begins from listening to God's words.

Faith comes from listening to the Word of God in the Bible.
The truth can be known by reading the Bible, the Word of God and Jesus.
The faith that does not know the truth is inevitable to be uncertain and blind.
Truth is a rock of salvation, and without truth, it collapses quickly when the Tribulation comes.

Second, by believing Jesus as a savior, he is called righteous person by God.

No matter how righteous human beings are, they can not be called righteous because they do not meet God's standard.
By believing Jesus as a savior, he is called righteous person by God.
Faith is the passage through the gateway to the journey of salvation by admitting Jesus as the Savior.

The third, person who is righteous by faith can be forgiven by Jesus' blood.

By sacrificing innocent lamb, a man was forgiven in the Old Testament.
By sacrificing innocenr Jesus, humans are forgiven in the New Testament.
Forgiven of sins is fo rorgiven of original sin and self-crimes, and is for escape from the subject of Satan, who captivated me on the condition of sins, and enter into the grace of God.

The fourth, 'born again' is that my spirit who was dead, is born with the help of the Holy Spirit,.

'Born again' is that old man who is pursue lust is dead, and new man who pursue holy is alive.
Being baptized and drowned, I believe that old man was crucified and killed with Jesus.
When I was taken out of the water and believed that i become a new life resurrected with Jesus.
When my spirit grows holy among grace and truth, spirit will forms the image of the Jesus Christ and bears the fruit of the Holy Spirit.

The fifth, If you are born again and the Holy Spirit is together, you can live righteously as God's will.

Faith is proven by doing.
Mission, Fellowship and service, etc., are duty that the person who is saved by grace should do.
I should abandons my thoughts and do what Jesus wants.

These five things are related to each other, so it is difficult to achieve complete salvation if one of them is missing.
But people usually tend to settle in the first stage of salvation and not go forward anymore.
But there are many passages in the Bible that emphasize human responsibility as well as God's grace.
Why is it so difficult to be saved?

Matt.5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

1Pet.1:15~16 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

Is it easy that imperfect and sinful man become perect and holy as God?
So we should be more concerned with have the qualities that can live right in heaven than go to heaven.
The United States is a good place to live in the environment, so one sent his children to study abroad.
But wiithout having right personallity, they may fall into drugs, gambling, alcoholism, sexual depravity, violence, and various crimes.

Matt.6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as [it is] in heaven.

Luke10:2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly [is] great, but the labourers [are] few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.

The reason God saves us is not to eat well live well in this world, but to make a worker who can achieve the will of of God this land.
Currently, this land is polluted by materialism, hedonism, humanism and idolatry as Satan intended, and is moving away from God.
Satan is blindfold us so that we do not know the truth and deceive us by false doctrines so that we can not be saved completely.

1Tim.2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

Ezek.18:23 Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: [and] not that he should return from his ways, and live?

Prov.27:1 Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.

1Pet.5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

God wants everyone to be saved, to know the truth, and is not be happy that the wicked die in sin.
Some people says he is so busy eating and living.
But no matter how prepared we are, we live an uneasy life that does not know what will happen tomorrow.
If we leave all our concerns to God and do what God wants, Jesus will protect our future.
