Ps.81:12~13 So I gave them up unto their
own hearts' lust: [and] they walked in their own counsels. Oh that
my people had hearkened unto me, [and] Israel had walked in my ways! When my spirit
revive and the Holy Spirit is together, I have to do God's work.
Matt.7:21 Not every one that saith unto
me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that
doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Luke6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord,
and do not the things which I say? Jesus said that Not
everyone who call Jesus as Lord shall enter the
kingdom of heaven, but he that does God's will.
Matt.12:50 For whosoever shall do the will
of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister,
and mother. John4:34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
Mark8:34~36 And when he had called the people [unto him] with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.
Jesus told that anyone to follow Jesus, should deny himself first and follow Jesus, bearing his cross.
Rom.8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with [him], that we may be also glorified together.
2Tim.3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly
in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. 1Pet.2:21~23 For even hereunto were ye
called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example,
that ye should follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile
found in his mouth: Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again;
when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed [himself] to
him that judgeth righteously: The saved saint is the child of God and heir of heaven, but to be honored with Jesus, you must suffer with him.
Matt.10:37~39 He that loveth father or
mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son
or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh
not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. He that
findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for
my sake shall find it. Luke14:26 If any [man] come to me, and
hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, Luke14:33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.
Luke9:24 For whosoever will save his life
shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the
same shall save it. Those who love their family or themselves more than Jesus can not be Jesus' disciples, and eventually they abandon the right faith.
Phil.1:27 Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;
To achieve God's will, Christians must go forward with any suffering and sacrifice.
* Right
behavior is doing following 3 things.
Matt.18:8 Wherefore if thy hand or thy
foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast [them] from thee: it is
better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having
two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire. Jesus told us that if your
hands or feet make a crime, it would be better to cut them
off and go to heaven as a cripple than go to hell that burns forever.
Mark8:38 Whosoever therefore shall be
ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful
generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed,
when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels. 1Cor.9:16 For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!
To save someone, you must be wise.
2. We must serve the poor neighbors. (Service) Matt.25:44~46
Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee
an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in
prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them,
saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did [it] not to
one of the least of these, ye did [it] not to me. And these
shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into
life eternal. Jesus say that after second
comming, Jesus will punish the person who did not help the hungry or thirsty, the traveler, the naked, the sick, and the imprisoned.
Heb.13:16
But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such
sacrifices God is well pleased. James1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before
God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows
in their affliction, [and] to keep himself unspotted from the world. But we often see the eople on TV who are in a difficult situation and help poor neighbors.
John5:29 And shall come forth; they that
have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have
done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. Rom.12:8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation:
he that giveth, [let him do it] with simplicity; he that ruleth,
with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness. It is the duty of the saints who have been saved by grace to help people who are economically difficult, alienated, and uncomfortable.
3.
We must serve and love each other in the church; (fellowship) John13:14~15
If I then, [your] Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also
ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example,
that ye should do as I have done to you. 1Pet.4:10
As every man hath received the gift, [even so] minister the same
one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. Jesus washed his disciples' feet at the last dinner, and the leader in the church set an example of serving the saints rather than being raised.
Mark12:31
And the second [is] like, [namely] this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour
as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. 1John3:14
We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love
the brethren. He that loveth not [his] brother abideth in death. 1Pet.1:22
Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through
the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, [see that ye] love
one another with a pure heart fervently: Luke6:37
Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye
shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: Jesus told me to love your neighbor as yourself, and this is the greatest commandment.
